My Chemical Romance at the Showbox

Sunday was quite epic. In the afternoon, I got to sit down with Ray and Mikey of My Chemical Romance to chat about "Sing," their fans, and touring. They were wonderful to talk to. Check out the interview below! After the interview, I got to stick around for the show and somehow ended up with a photographer pass. So, I got to hang out right in front of the baricade for the first three songs of each act. The Architects started the night off, followed by Neon Trees. The crowd was NUTS (it was sold out!), full of energy and stoked to see MCR. When they took the stage, Showbow Sodo erupted into lights and colors and sounds. It. Was. Insane. I've wanted to see MCR perform since I was in high school, so seeing the show up close was especially cool. They started the set with "Na Na Na" and performed songs from everything, even Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The crowd stayed full of absoute energy for the entire show, singing along to each song, and the light show on the stage kept the mood changing for each song. It was a fantastic show, one I am so glad I got to go and see!
