Anne Boleyn born most likely between 1501 and 1507. She was daughter of the courtier Sir Thomas Boleyn and Elizabeth, daughter of the duke of Norfolk. Her father sent her to the
a lady-in-waiting to Archduchess Margaret in the Netherlands. Then, in 1514, Anne's father arranged for her to be a lady-in-waiting at the French court to Queen Mary, King Henry VIII's younger sister. So, she later met the king Henry VIII, because Anne became lady-on-waiting of the Queen Catherine.
The king had an tremendous desire of having a male heir but he got tired of trying to get it from the Queen Catherine. Later, he arranged the law of Supremacy, so that he could be separated from the Catholic Church, divorce the Queen Catherine and marry Anne.
They got married in secret, and then Anne got pregnant of Elizabeth I and two more babies. The second child was a boy, so the king was convinced that it was an act of a witch.
So, he still wanted a male heir and to divorce Anne, he accused her of adultery and witchcraft. Her uncle condemned her and she became the first queen executed publicly.
I think that the injustice committed by the British Government with the case of Anne Boleyn was all deal of the king for his paranoia.
In those years there was nothing that a woman could do to defend herself of the law, and Anne had a bigger problem, because she couldn't be against the king of England.
If the court would have investigated more, they would have found the truth, but the acussation was made for the king, who represented the whole authority and none could be against his will.
So, Anne is the worst of the cases of the women who suffered injustices in the old ages.
It was a social issue and also an abuse of the king' s power.
